Online registration is now closed. You may still register on the day of conference on arrival.

Can I help out?

Help create Limmud Chicago by volunticipating on one of our planning teams.  Learn how to get involved!  And spread the word on Facebook and Twitter, too!

What is the schedule?
This year, there are 3 registration options for Limmud Chicago:

  1. Register for the full program — which includes all day and evening sessions, lunch, dinner, and snacks.  Registration opens at 8am; sessions start at 9am and will conclude at 9pm.
  2. Register for the day only — which includes sessions from 9am – 6pm, lunch and snacks.
  3. Register for the dinner and evening program.  Evening registration opens at 6pm and the final session will conclude at 9pm.

See below for registration costs for the different options and for information about scholarships.

How do I propose a session?

THE DEADLINE FOR SESSION PROPOSALS HAS PASSED.  Please see our FAQs for Presenters page.

Where is the conference?
At the UIC Student Center East, 750 South Halsted St, Chicago.  This central location is easily accessible to major highways and public transportation.

Is there parking?
Yes, you can pay our special reduced daily parking rate ($7/entire day) when you register.  The parking lot is on the east side of Halsted St, directly across the street from the Student Center.

Will you have transportation?
Unfortunately, not this year.  We have not had enough interest to make this a feasible option.  If you have interested in ride-sharing, please email registration@limmudchicago.org.

Will you have a kids’ program?
Yes, there will be programs specifically for your kids and teens!  Read more about Camp Limmud (ages 3-12) and Young Limmud (ages 13-16) for more details.

Please note that Camp Limmud is CLOSED for registration. Teens aged 13-16  may still register for the Young Limmud program on the day of the conference.

There will be no childcare or childrens’ programming after 6pm.  If you choose to have children stay for dinner and the evening program, they must be supervised by a responsible adult.  Children under 13 must be pre-registered so that we can provide adequate staff for them.  There will be no walk-in registration for kids.
